During the past decade a number of books dealing with pediatric cardiology have been published. This one seems to be as complete as any on the subject. The authors have had a great amount of personal experience from which they draw the material presented. All known forms of congenital heart disease are discussed.
The first part of the book presents background information on the anatomic, embryologic, pathogenic, and pathologic considerations necessary for the understanding of congenital heart disease.
