This timely monograph effectively describes the current status of various techniques of gastroscopic photography. Although written by an enthusiastic proponent, the methods, indications, and limitations of the procedure are not overstated and are viewed with proper perspective in regard to other means of diagnosing gastric lesions. The reader will find a brief section on the technique of gastroscopy, and discussion of the gastroscopes, light sources, cameras and film most suitable for gastroscopic photography.
