"Diseases of Connective Tissue" would be a better title for this monograph since the author has described in great detail many of these puzzling and often overlapping entities. A radiologist, he has emphasized radiographic changes, particularly those of the chest and of the gastrointestinal tract, many of which are reproduced in photographs of considerable technical variability. Unfortunately the photographs of chest roentgenograms are often disappointing when parenchymal infiltrates are demonstrated.
