The excellent pictorial coverage (927 illustrations, mostly in color) of this compact volume adequately encompasses most of the realm of dermatology. Of all the organ systems of the human body, the skin obviously is the one most suited to photographic methods of demonstrating the disease states to which it is susceptible.
The illustrations depict significant advances in the technology of color photography and technical engraving. The accompanying text and clinical description are short and concise. This book is not meant to stand alone as a text in itself, but the authors state that it should be used in conjunction with
