This book is a successful attempt to produce a practical synopsis of dermatology. It is written for the nondermatologist in clear, concise exposition. Beginning with discussions of what the skin is and how it functions, it proceeds to useful descriptions of skin disease. A short chapter on dermatologic office procedure is simple and briefly covers the major techniques.
