This volume is composed of a series of papers published in the Journal of The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, during the last year. These consist of 12 contributions on various aspects of the neurological examination and 8 on laboratory and other ancillary diagnostic procedures. Each of the 19 contributors to the volume is a member, or former member, of the staff of The Mount Sinai Hospital, and the book represents the special viewpoint of that institution's neurological unit.
