The following recommendations were issued by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the U. S. Public Health Service from its meeting on May 26, 1967 (and were published in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, Vol. 16, No. 32, week ending August 12, 1967). Although these recommendations will be of interest chieflly to pediatricians and school physicians, internists caring for children with diseases placing them in high-risk groups and with diseases or treatment contraindicating vaccination may find this statement to be of importance.
