To the Editor: I am writing concerning a statement made by Dr. Seymour Perry in the Clinical Staff Conference on Hodgkin's disease (Ann. Intern. Med. 67: 424, 1967). Dr. Perry stated, "As is well known, this disease is found all over the world and seems unrelated to social status or occupation." I wish to clear up this statement lest it close the door of needed research in these areas.
The disease does occur all over the world, but there are international differences in age of occurrence that are unexplained and, if understood, could be significant clues about the nature of
