Papers presented at the First International Symposium on Renal Neoplasia in September 1965 make up this book. Invited participants represented a multidisciplinary clinical and investigative approach to the problem of renal adenocarcinoma, which accounts for 85 to 90% of renal cancers. Their objective was to define what is known, to focus continuing search for the cause, and to improve diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
