In this practitioner's practical guide to treatment of heart disease, both congenital and acquired heart disease are considered but only as they occur in adults. Hints in diagnosis are presented briefly followed by the authors' program of management with minimal reference to published articles. The pharmacology of common drugs is treated well. A half dozen or more well-selected reading references are given at the end of each chapter.
