Because of the phenomenal growth of nuclear medicine, many facets of this field are still in the developmental stage. Therefore, the authors have attempted a formidable task in the distillation of the myriad facts and ideas on the subject—emphasizing those that are either well established or that show promise of becoming established and useful. The result of their labors is gratifying.
