A compilation, in pocket-paperback format, of the TNM classifications for 24 cancer sites. The TNM system provides a shorthand method of describing the size and extent of the primary tumor (T), the features of regional lymph node involvement (N), and the presence or absence of distant metastases (M). For some cancers, histopathological categories (P) and grading (G) are also listed. All of the classifications in this manual have been through trial periods of at least 5 years.
Recommended for pathologists and clinical oncologists.
