Under the title Treatment of Hemorrhagic Disorders, this new book extensively encompasses modern views on the treatment of all forms of hemorrhagic disorders. As might be expected in a work from 15 authors, there is some variation in quality and some overlapping of discussions. For the specialists in the field of coagulation, this type of presentation is beneficial and indeed ideal. For the average internist it appears lengthy, and he may find it difficult to extract the essential ingredients.
The text begins with a short outline of the pathophysiology of hemostasis followed by an excellent outline of the differential diagnosis
