WILLIAM C. ROBERTS, M.D.
"A medical center" was the title of the address given on December 16, 1915, by Dr. Stewart R. Roberts as the retiring president of the Fulton County Medical Society, Atlanta, Ga. In his address Dr. Roberts described the prerequisites of a medical center and stressed the importance of developing such a center in the Southeast. One of the requirements mentioned was a "spirit of hospitality," which meant not only an open "reception of a stranger, new book, method, fact, or idea . . . but of fellow workers and members of the profession."
