This is a magnificent and long-awaited contribution to the neuroradiographic literature. The English translation by Dr. H. G. MCClintock flows freely and reflects accurately the intent of the original which was published in German. The magnitude of this superlative work by the authors and the translator boggles the imagination.
The introductory section on the technical aspects of arteriography includes a particularly lucid discussion of the indications, contraindications, limitations, and complications of various procedures. Anatomy and topography of the arteries and veins are thoroughly described by excellent radiographs and simple expository prose. Subsequent sections of the book deal thoroughly with the
