An outline-survey (with structural formulas, chemical equations, and flow diagrams) of biochemical methods, principles in physical chemistry, cell structure, the principal groups of biochemical compounds and metabolites, detoxification, and renal function. Little attention is paid to specifically clinical aspects of biochemistry; useful only to physicians who have had a formal course in biochemistry very recently; not recommended for older physicians interested in reviewing.
