Beginning with a concise historical introduction, the initial chapter of this book deals with classification, natural course, special forms, and laboratory findings and is intended to orient the reader in the field of Hodgkin's disease. Although extensively referenced and liberally supplemented with illustrations the discussion is too cursory to convey a sense of the disease to the uninitiated and too superficial to stimulate those familiar with the field.
