Prentice-Hall, publisher of the "Foundations of Modern Genetics Series," has included in this group a monograph on human genetics. As the author of this monograph, Victor McKusick has been freed from the laborious task of trying to include a basic primer on genetics as a prelude to human genetics. This has allowed the development of a concise text with the use of human disorders to explain genetic principals.
