The continuing impact of selective coronary arteriography on the medical and surgical approaches to ischemic heart disease is evident by this monograph, which is the second published by the author since 1965. The initial portion of the text consists of the technical aspects of selective coronary arteriographic studies, including indications, equipment, and complications of the procedure. This is followed by a brief review of the author's recommended medical therapy for patients who were not selected for triple pedicle grafts. The second half of the book is devoted to the various surgical approaches to coronary atherosclerosis but consists primarily of the
