The editor of this new manual has undertaken a truly monumental task in bringing together a mass of data which has been scattered throughout the literature pertaining to analytical toxicology.
Most of the information in the first section is presented in tables and is under five major headings: Drugs, Economic Poisons, Industrial Chemicals, Air Pollution, and Water Analysis. Each subsection has appended to it a list of literature references to the tabulated data. These data include common synonyms for substances cross referenced to accepted names; chemical names and structural formulas; physical properties; toxicity data; and published analytical methods for detection
