This small volume is written to help the physician review and broaden his knowledge of electrocardiograms. The book consists of 100 questions and answers and is not a textbook.
Unfortunately, some important aspects of interpretation are omitted in several tracings. For instance, the finding of various coupling intervals with relatively constant shortest interectopic intervals in case study 5 is not mentioned. This finding strongly suggests atrial parasystole. In fact, a typical example of atrial parasystole is misdiagnosed as ordinary atrial premature contraction in case study 31. It is important to distinguish the two because of their different clinical significance. Wolff-Parkinson-White
