Tissue culture techniques have been used to an increasing degree over the last 10 years as one approach to the study of morphological and metabolic changes in cells in the normal and atherosclerotic arterial wall. Published data derived from such tissue culture studies carried out by numerous workers are summarized in this monograph, and in this respect it forms a fairly complete picture of this field until June 1969.
