This encyclopedic survey covers the entire range of concept and practice in urology, running from anatomy and physiology of the kidney, ureters, bladder, and male genital tract, through the "medical" and "surgical" diseases of interest in this specialty, and into surgical techniques. The quality of content and presentation is uneven from chapter to chapter; some chapters are good; some of the writing is turgid; and some of the concepts and details are poorly focused or antique.
