In 1963, as a fitting culmination to his long and distinguished career, Dr. Chester W. Emmons together with Dr. Chapman H. Binford and Dr. John P. Utz published a comprehensive text on medical mycology. It contained the distilled essence of their vast knowledge of the fungi and actinomycetes that cause diseases and the histopathology and therapy of the mycoses.
