An organ of such magnitude and complexity as the liver can hardly be comprehensively covered in less than 180 pages, and such is not the intention of this book. The subject is presented simply; the book is easy to read and comprehend. I found it is refreshing, even though not scientifically orthodox, to encounter as many facts as well as undocumented opinions without the usual voluminous references that one suspects authors of not having actually consulted.
With these limitations kept in mind, the book serves well as a synopsis of liver disorders and provides a useful introduction as well as
