EARL W. CAMPBELL JR., M.D.
To the editor: There is no question about the excellence of Dr. John Durant's editorial (ANNALS, December 1970) on Hodgkin's disease, in terms of its organization and clarity. It is to be hoped, however, that he realizes that the current state of knowledge about Hodgkin's disease is not necessarily the result of monolithic research enterprise but rather the end product of a cooperative interaction of more than one group. He fails to give cognizance to the fact that Acute Leukemia Group B has an on-going study to evaluate in crossover fashion the effect of combination radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
