The work presented in this book is based on measurements taken from more than 25,000 radiographs obtained from populations studied in Ohio, Missouri, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama; from the Central American Nutritional Survey; and from the National Nutrition Survey, covering the age range of 0.25 years through the ninth decade. They are supplemented by radiographs of endocrinopathies, chromosomal abnormalities, and infants and children
