Increasing interest in nutrition, partly resulting from a growing concern with worldwide malnutrition (including that in the United States) and overpopulation, may play a role in the near doubling in size (and price) of this volume compared with the last two of the series. The size, however, is appropriate to the importance of its content.
The volume consists of 12 reviews of subjects ranging in scope from a psychiatric study of anorexia nervosa to nutritional factors in nervous system disease of farm animals. The material is of high quality throughout, with most of the topics being treated in depth. This
