Translated from the German edition of 1968, this attractive book, with pages of glossy, heavy stock, is a virtual encyclopedia of cardiovascular radiology. The first two sections are excellent discussions of roentgenography of the normal heart and of the response of the cardiac silhouette to various abnormalities. The following section consists of approximately 300 pages devoted to congenital anomalies. The next 220 pages are devoted to other cardiac and thoracic aortic diseases, and the final chapter is a brief exposition of electrokymography.
