Strauss, Argy, and Schreiner, in their article "Diabetic Glomerulosclerosis in the Absence of Glucose Intolerance," describe a patient who developed electron microscopic evidence of diabetic nephropathy in the presence of normal glucose tolerance as tested by conventional modalities, with the exception of an abn ormal cortisone glucose tolerance test.
