This compendium of drug-with-drug interactions and drug effects on clinical laboratory results will be a very useful reference source for practicing physicians, pharmacists, and teachers. Previously, we had to rely on tables that merely listed drugs, often included poorly documented reports, and gave no comment on the clinical significance or frequency of the interaction.
The book is divided about equally into sections on drug-with-drug interactions and on drug effects on laboratory test results. The first part, on drug interactions, is subdivided into types of drugs, with comments on mechanism, clinical significance, and management. The sections are well referenced, and three
