Earlier reports in this series have dealt with requirements for calories, protein, calcium, vitamin A, thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin. At their meeting in Geneva in April and May 1969, which was sponsored by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Health Organization, the eleven authors of this report were members of a group chaired by Dr. G. H. Beaton, Professor and Head, Department of Nutrition, School of Hygiene, University of Toronto. There were seven representatives of countries in Europe, two from the United States, and one from India: it is therefore understandable that "riboflavine," "programmes,"
