Many of us are still confused by some aspects of the theories suggested to explain the interaction of the multitude of clotting factors. Furthermore, we are still unable to clearly explain why certain of the deficiencies are expressed as more serious disorders than others, although the rationale for these specific coagulation tests is easier to understand.
Nour-Eldin's presentation of the laboratory and clinical aspects of the coagulation process is short and concise, covering only 160 pages of text in a small paperback edition. Unfortunately, the subject matter still does not lend itself to simplicity as well as it does to
