This text in electrocardiography is designed especially for beginners and has been written in simple, lucid, straightforward prose.
Most of the 207 illustrations are relevant and informative. Key points throughout the text are designated by bold lettering or italics, making it easy for the reader to identify pertinent information. The sections on electrical axis and myocardial death, injury, and ischemia are excellent, and those on arrhythmias and conduction disturbances are good. The chapter on drug and electrolyte effects on the electrocardiogram is scanty and could have been expanded. The final chapter on approaches to ECG interpretation is very well done
