Data on total of hospital and other institutional bills for dying persons, considered by age, sex, ethnic group, cause of death, region, family income, living arrangements marital status, number and type of illness episodes. Highest bills were in deaths from malignant neoplasm; lowest, from trauma, including homicide and suicide.
