This atlas, consisting of several hundred colored pictures of histologic sections and, to a much lesser extent, of gross specimens, is intended to serve as a general introduction to pathology for the medical and biology student. The text accompanying the illustrations is too sketchy to be of any value for the medical student in gaining any insight into the concepts of disease. For the biology student, it may offer some general background information.
