This manual was written to provide a useful working reference for the clinical nuclear-medicine laboratory. The methods described are all in daily use. Although the methods may not represent the only or the easiest way to do a procedure, those described do give satisfactory results. All studies are clearly described according to the format: principles, indications, limitations, isotope and dose, patient preparation, procedure, notes, and interpretation. Half of the book is given to organ-scanning procedures.
The second section discusses the in vitro procedures. Studies here include plasma volume, red blood cell survival and sequestration, red blood cell volume, rose Bengal
