Case 1. A female, aged 22, who had drunken away with her fiance in the early morning of Christmas day, was run over by a taxi while crouching on the street. The fiance told the taxi-driver to bring her to hospital, but asked him to wait a moment while he would go to do his needs. But in his absence, the driver ran away with the victim. Not finding the car on his return to the spot of the accident, the man searched around there in vain, and he went to a police stand to inform the accident.
