Like its predecessors in this series (1964 and 1967), Volume III presents the thinking of many authorities on current problems of diabetes. Sixty-one chapters are grouped under basic considerations, diagnosis, therapy, problems in management, oral contraceptive agents, pregnancy and diabetes, and special problems. All the chapters are brief. A few review familiar ground blandly and superficially. Most present newer observations and points of view.
