This prescriptive "how-to-do-it" vade mecum, aimed at ambitious, undaunted, and inexpert members of the community hospital audience, should prove invaluable, not only to administrators, professional staff, and practicing physicians but also to "hospital librarians," be they secretaries, nurses, or auxiliary volunteers in real life.
Here is a real find, mitigated only by its cost, for all who want to develop their hospital library into a meaningful component of health care and education.
