Data on relations between obstetrical parity and hypertension; data from the Health Examination Survey conducted in 1960 through 1962.
"Systolic and diastolic blood pressures were proportional by age up to age 55, after which a slight drop occurred in the case of diastolic. In comparable age groups there was no evidence to suggest that either parity or gravidity played a part in the etiology of cardiovascular hypertension."
Detailed tables and an appendix on statistical methods.
