Sixteen papers from a meeting held in London, 19-21 October 1971. These reviews of current and recent work focus on improper nutrition as a critical determinant in central nervous system structure and the implications extend to genetic diseases, psychological and emotional maldevelopment, nutrition in poor countries, and evaluation of intelligence. Clearly a source that should be in all clinical libraries used by internists, pediatricians, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and biochemists with investigational interests in these directions.
