Fifteen outstanding authors have contributed 13 chapters to this virtually complete survey of the use of radioactive pharmaceuticals in the evaluation of renal function and of renal disease. Of these 13 chapters, 9 (Part I, 198 pages) are devoted to basic considerations and procedures, with indications for the general areas of application. Four chapters (Part II, 98 pages) discuss clinical problems of renal disease and the contributions of nuclear medicine to their solution.
