Forty-eight pages of the text are devoted to esophageal disorders, and 72 pages deal with lesions of the stomach. Duodenal endoscopy is not covered in the volume. The narrative text is divided into definition, incidence, etiology and pathogenesis, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and endoscopic findings and treatment.
