Knowing what to do in a medical emergency can reduce morbidity and mortality in many instances. Unfortunately, most persons, including some physicians, do not know what to do. This book describes what action to take when time is important in saving a life. Although it is ostensibly intended for first-aid laymen, sections will be very useful to even the best trained nurses and physicians. We venture to guess that few such persons know of the danger of the bite of the brown recluse spider. Dr. Henderson's guide is truly comprehensive.
