Having lost my review copy of this book somewhere in the Dallas airport, my review may be somewhat more critically thorough for my having to pay $26.25 (including tax) for a new copy. From a clinician's viewpoint I conclude that this volume has little to offer. Indeed, according to the preface, "purely clinical and therapeutic aspects have been avoided," and the reader is referred to the two other recently published books on myeloma.
In the first chapter, Dr. Azar covers myeloma from his extensive experience as a pathologist. He uses a large autopsy experience plus an extensive literature review in
