Twelve review articles. Half of them—such as those on blood preservation (Strumia) and cultural methods for unusual Pseudomonas species (von Graevenitz)—are likely to be useful mainly to laboratory directors and technicians. Some of the others—such as those on cytogenetic methods by Porter, normal ranges by Amador, hematologic drug side effects by Fairbanks and associates, and infectious diseases shared by man and animals by Steele—may be useful to clinicians. Subject index. Recommended for hospital libraries.
