To the editor: As a busy practicing physician, I am particularly concerned with budgeting my time to best serve my patients and my family. Among the items in the budget is, of necessity, postgraduate education. Like any physician who is conscious of the world around him, I am concerned with hospital affairs, community affairs, and politics in general and also am trying to maintain some semblance of a corpore sano. Because of the continual interruptions a busy practicing internist has, particularly night and weekend calls, I have a considerably limited time to pursue these aims, and the limitation extends to
