If a book is to be judged by its intent, this one gets full marks for maturity, honesty, and economy of words. We learn from a radiologist that even angiography may have its limitations! In this review of their experience with 2804 abdominal angiograms Dr. Wenz and his colleagues suggest that even angiography does not give all the answers to gastrointestinal bleeding. For example, their studies localized the site of gastrointestinal bleeding in 19 patients, gave uncertain results in 11, gave false information in 4, and failed to localize the bleeding in 15.
