The past and recent experiments in animals and man with thymus and marrow transplantation, tumor immunology, and immunotherapy are presented in the 11 separate articles of this volume. They are, with one exception, concise and well written by acknowledged experts in these areas. There is discussion of bone marrow transplantation for treatment of marrow aplasia and leukemia as well as of the use of thymus and marrow engraftment for therapy of immunodeficiency disorders in man. The experience with transfer factor therapy in human infections, malignancy, and immune deficiency disorders is extensively covered.
